MINNEAPOLIS — The Seahawks will miss one of their best assistants for Sunday’s game against the Vikings as linebacker Benson Mayowa is inactive with a neck injury. They will also be without safety Marquise Blair, who was not on the last injury report of the week but apparently had something to do with pre-game warm-ups. Blair had been on the injury report with a knee injury earlier in the week.

Mayowa, who has one sack, five tackles, two tackles for a loss and two quarterback hits in two games, was listed as questionable in Friday’s injury report.

Right tackle Brandon Shell (ankle), running back Rashaad Penny (calf) and wide receiver Dee Eskridge (concussion) are also out due to injury, all of whom were ruled out on Friday.

The Seahawks added depth to the defensive line on Saturday, lifting Robert Nkemdiche from the practice squad for the second straight week. He’ll be active, as will wide receiver Cody Thompson, who will make his NFL debut after being raised from the practice squad on Saturday.

The Vikings will be without Pro-Bowl running back Dalvin Cook, who has been listed as questionable with an ankle injury.
