The family of Peter Cundall have announced that the longtime horticulturalist, environmentalist, host and presenter of ABC-TV, Gardening Australia, has died aged 94. The family said Peter wanted there to be no announcement or publicity regarding his death, but prepared a brief statement for release, which is presented in full below: âOn Sunday, December 5, 2021, Peter Cundall passed away peacefully after a short illness, surrounded by his family. “Peter’s privacy, and the privacy of his family, must be respected at this very sad time. Peter’s family do not wish to be contacted. “Although he was loved by many, according to Peter’s wishes, there will be a private cremation and no memorial service will be held.
