PHOENIX — DeMar DeRozan called the Bulls’ dismal three-game road trip a “bumpy road.”

But it looked more like a huge pothole as the Bulls lost all three games and continued to play like a team that will start the playoffs on the road rather than at home.

“You hit bumpy roads and you have to make adjustments,” DeRozan said after the loss to the Suns on Friday. “That’s exactly where we are. It’s up to us to get out of it.”

They have 12 regular season games left to figure that out. It may not change their standings, but there are games to be won and momentum to be gained. Here’s how:

March 21 c. Toronto: The Bulls are 2-1 against the upstart Raptors this season, but all three games felt like a street fight. That’s what Toronto’s young frontcourt is turning games into. But where the Raptors fail to match the Bulls is star power. This will once again have weight in the last meeting of the season. Plus, it sounds like a possible return of Patrick Williams. Verdict: The Bulls win (Record: 42-29).

March 22 in Milwaukee: The Bulls played hard against the Bucks, but that won’t happen in “The Freak’s” backyard. A Giannis Antetokounmpo is better than a DeRozan and a Zach LaVine. Verdict: The Bulls lose (42-30).

March 24 in New Orleans: If there’s one aspect of the schedule the Bulls have managed, it’s dealing with bum teams. Sure, there’s been the occasional Sacramento and Orlando, but for the most part they win the games they’re supposed to win. Verdict: Victory of the bulls (43-30).

March 26 in Cleveland: The Cavaliers are going to be a problem for the next decade, but not yet. They’re still without Jarrett Allen, and that’s a big deal for their 7-foot frontcourt. The Bulls’ experience wins out and the Cavs lose the season series. Verdict: The Bulls win (44-30).

March 28 in New York: This will have all the makings of a classic Tom Thibodeau trap game. It’s Thibs’ playoffs. Verdict: The Bulls lose (44-31).

March 29 in Washington: Just as they dealt with the passed out Pelicans, the Bulls will draw the same number on the Wizards, even in a showdown with the Knicks. Verdict: The bulls win (45-31).

March 31 against Los Angeles Clippers: It starts a sprint towards the end of the season, with the Bulls playing five straight home games and looking for a solid finish. The understaffed Clippers shouldn’t be a problem. Verdict: Victory of the Bulls (46-31).

April 2 against Miami: Unless the Heat have somehow locked down an important playoff seed and are starting to rest the players, this is another nightmare game for the Bulls. Too physical and too mean, the Heat will once again submit the local team. Styles make the fight, and it’s not a fight the Bulls want. Verdict: The Bulls lose (46-32).

April 5 vs. Milwaukee: They have to beat the Bucks, and that happens in the season finale at the United Center. Verdict: victory for the Bulls (47-32).

April 6 against Boston: A preview of the first round of the playoffs? May be. No Eastern team has played better than the Celtics. Verdict: The Bulls lose (47-33).

April 8 against Charlotte: The Bulls have been a horrible game for the Hornets all season. Verdict: Victory of the Bulls (48-33).

April 10 in Minnesota: It could mean everything for one or both of these teams, or it could be meaningless for one or both. However, expect the Bulls to be locked in a seed and rest their core. Still, as Jimmy Butler showed, reserve players can beat the Timberwolves. Verdict: Victory of the bulls (49-33).

The 2022 college football season will once again see the Big 12 enter unique territory. With the departures of Oklahoma and Texas on the horizon, it remains to be confirmed whether this will really be the last year with the Sooners and Longhorns as members of the Big 12 before they join the SEC. But the 2022 season sees a Big 12 schedule with non-conference games that will serve as little snippets of college football’s future with Texas hosting the SEC’s top dog and other Big 12 members taking on future Big 12 foes. 12.

The NFL is poised to expand its reach like never before in the 2022 season. On Monday, the league announced its five-game international slate for the coming year along with some of the teams that will play outside of the states. United next season. The Arizona Cardinals will play in Mexico at the Estadio Azteca, while the Green Bay Packers, New Orleans Saints and Jacksonville Jaguars will all play in London, England. Also, for the first time, the NFL will play in Germany (Munich) in a game that will feature the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Of course, this is only the first piece of the international puzzle. The league said in its statement that the opponents for those games — along with the dates and kick-off times — will be confirmed as part of the full 2022 schedule release later this offseason.

As the NFL extended its regular season to 17 games, it was determined that up to four of the conference teams eligible for a ninth regular season home game would instead be selected to play in a neutral-site international game, which helped in the selection of some of these teams.

For the Buccaneers, this match at FC Bayern Munich’s stadium in Munich is the first of what should be a blossoming relationship with Germany. Earlier it was announced that Munich and Frankfurt have been chosen to host regular season matches in Germany over the next four years.

“We look forward to the NFL’s regular season opener in Munich, Germany later this fall as part of the International Series,” Buccaneers owner Joel Glazer said. “This historic game will play a crucial role in the NFL’s efforts to grow its international footprint while allowing us to directly engage NFL fans in Germany.”

Meanwhile, the Cardinals will play in Mexico City, where they hosted the NFL’s first-ever away game in 2005.

It will also be the Green Bay Packers’ first international trip in franchise history. They are now the 32nd team to play in London since 2007.

“The Green Bay Packers are thrilled to make their international debut in the 2022 season,” Packers president and CEO Mark Murphy said. “Our fans in the UK and elsewhere in Europe have been eagerly awaiting the opportunity to see the Packers play in their backyard, and we know many of our fans in the US will be visiting London. It will be an honor to represent the NFL, as well as Green Bay and the State of Wisconsin, internationally. This will be a great opportunity to introduce the Packers, as well as Green Bay and our region, to an international audience and encourage United Kingdom fans. United to visit us in person at Champ de Lambeau.”

The Packers and Saints will play at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London while the Jaguars will return to Wembley Stadium for the first time since 2019.

According to ESPN.com, Major League Baseball will begin canceling regular season games if the league and its players’ association fail to reach a new collective bargaining agreement by Monday. Matches would not be rescheduled.

Well, don’t threaten me with having a good time.

My first thought when I read this was, “Good. Now we are getting somewhere.

Obviously, the best course of action for the health of the game would be for MLB and its players’ union to come to an agreement with a manageable salary cap and a flexible salary floor representing a representative percentage of each team’s revenue.

Obviously the best course of action for my personal health would be to exercise more, stop drinking alcohol, cut down to no more than six cups of coffee a day, and get at least six hours at least once a week.

Yeah. None of this is happening either.

Substantial change in baseball won’t happen without MLB shutting down and a real crisis in the face like the NHL did in 2004-05.

It stunk to have a year without hockey. However, the sport left and came back in a much better position.

Perfect? Completely repaired? No. But when I read about NHL issues, pay inequality between teams, competitive balance, revenue-sharing philosophy, and asset distribution within the league seem to be low on the list.

The same must happen with Major League Baseball. Leave until you come back as close as possible to the fixed. At least from the point of view of the payroll system.

Oh, and free will, salary arbitration, and service time manipulation. All. Get everything hammered.

Forget arguing over a universal designated hitter, starting runners on base in extra innings and banning the shift. These debates seem silly to have in the vacuum that exists right now. I’ll care about that kind of baseball minutia when I have a reason to care about my hometown team again.

Because right now whoever is playing in my backyard has no chance of long-term success. The Pittsburgh Pirates have an owner in Bob Nutting who can’t spend enough to keep pace with the current uncapped baseball system and seems content to spend as little as possible at the expense of rarely putting a winning product on the field anyway. .

Nutting isn’t alone among his MLB proprietary peers. He’s just a prime example.

Then there’s the players’ union who seem to think that if they don’t walk away from the negotiating table winning on all fronts, it’s not worth playing at all. It’s also a group of gamers who think their popularity with young fans is what it was back in the pre-steroid testing days of the late 1990s.

The truth is, an average 12-year-old would much rather be Mike Trout in a video game than watch him on TV or ask his dad to buy him a ticket to see him play.

We have already had many work stoppages. Fans got tired of watching them play. We lost the World Series in 1994. There were plenty of saber rattling as the labor contracts expired in 1997, 2003, 2006, 2011 and 2016, not to mention those sticky coronavirus negotiations.

Yet every time baseball emerges with some sort of in-between, half-measured, band-aid adjustments and adjustments.

And every year teams like the Pirates seem to find themselves in a position where they can’t spend competitively with big market clubs and have minimal incentive to do so even if they wanted to.

For fans of the Pirates and other medium to small sized teams, these frequent labor “fixes” are actually the “worst case scenario”. The issues are not meaningfully resolved, and the detachment from the sport to get us through the emotional ring of flirting with more work discord is all the greater.

Personally, I am for the lockout. Even if it lasts all year. What is the difference? What am I going to miss? Another season of 95 to 105 defeats on the North Shore? All the Pirates fans can’t stop hearing about the team – and keep coming back to Twitter – it’s “wait for the next drafts classes come in three to four more years. So they will be good.

OK. Then I guess it’s the Greensboro, Bradenton and Altoona fans who get robbed. If so, who in Pittsburgh cares about missing out on 2022?

There was a time when I would have been less jaded and said, “Well, even if the Pirates stink, at least the rest of the league will play. I will look at it.

Not so much anymore. The erosion of confidence in the home team can only be compensated by the enthusiasm for the league for so long. Now I’m at the point where I can’t separate my anger for the way the league has handled its affairs from my inherent love for the game itself.

So stay away from MLB. Come back when you’ve made real changes for the better. Then I’ll get back on board like I did for hockey in 2005-06.

Until then, I noticed that PNC Park will host Billy Joel, Metallica and the Mötley Crüe/Def Leppard/Poison Joan Jett stadium tour, all in the space of four days between August 11-14.

This will be the biggest interest I’ve had in a weekend series at PNC Park since 2015.

Since taking over the Greenwood soccer team, Aaron Anstine has watched Kent Houser’s field hockey schedule with awe.

Year after year, the Houser Wildcats compete for county, league and district championships. There is a consistency that, despite losing all stars upon graduation, keeps Greenwood’s field hockey relevant.

Anstine, who just finished his eighth year at Millerstown, appears to have taken the hit.

Even though Anstine had to replace nine seniors, including seven starters – three stars – plus his goalie, the Wildcats barely missed a beat. Anstine revamped his entire defense, hooked up a goalkeeper, and secured career years from a handful of players biding their time, waiting for the opportunity to play important minutes.

“The expectation is that we compete for a league championship every year,” said Anstine. “It doesn’t change.”

Greenwood opened the season with a two-game split at Big Spring’s Backyard Brawl, defeating Daniel Boone 3-1 in Game 1, before losing a 4-1 decision to Camp Hill in the title game.

The Wildcats went on to claim 12 straight wins – 11 in the Tri-Valley League game.

A 1-0 loss to West Perry ended the streak and cost them a repeat of their county title.

Anstine’s team followed with a 4-0 rout of East Juniata who completed a 12-0 sweep through TVL and won a league championship.

The Wildcats stumbled down the home stretch, losing to Midd-West 3-0 in their regular-season final, then were disappointed to fall 1-0 to Wyomissing – on a penalty – in the first round of the district tournament 3AA.

Overall, Greenwood went 15-4, scoring 7-3 against the District Qualifiers… 4-2 against the teams that made the PIAA tournament.

“We’ve had a great year,” said Anstine, who set her career record at 109-43-4. “My only frustration is that we couldn’t win this big game. We couldn’t get that signing victory.

Under Anstine, defense was Greenwood’s calling card. Despite the complete background redesign, this year was no exception.

The Wildcats reluctantly scored 15 goals – 0.79 per game, a few ticks more than a year ago. They have recorded 11 shutouts, including nine in that 12-game winning streak.

Anstine opened the year with freshman Pate Anderson in the goal. Anderson served as a solid placeholder for senior Ethan Jezewski, who started out as a center-back while waiting for a cast to be removed from his wrist.

Anderson started the first six games and went 5-1 with three shutouts, including a strong 2-0 outing against Juniata.

Jezewski was in the net the rest of the way. He allowed 13 goals on 66 shots, a good save rate of 87%. Jezewski, in his first year as a college goaltender, was named the TVL First Team All-Star goaltender.

“Pate kept us competitive until we got Ethan back,” said Anstine. “Ethan has had a phenomenal year. He made some big saves.

Anstine has rebuilt their defense around a pair of sophomores, Kyle Corkle and Nick Stuck, the tandem in the middle of their four-back roster. He put the elder Cesar Rangel on the left side. Junior Trey Hess opened on the right.

“We knew Corkle had the speed to play there. Nick is a calm kid, very stoic, but he associated well with Kyle, ”explained Anstine. “Cesar and Trey were strong on the outside, shutting down (the perimeter.”

Rangel, a first year starter, was recognized for his game by being named TVL Star.

Anstine’s offense has also taken care of its business, scoring 4.2 goals per game, nearly one better than a year ago.

The Wildcats thrived on increased production of returning vets.

Samuel Myers, a junior attacking midfielder, led the team – and TVL – in goals and points. He finished with 19 goals in total, more than double the eight goals he had in his first two years, and 49 points. In 12 games with TVL, he scored 17 goals, scored 43 points and was named the league’s MVP.

Myers, who raised his career point total to 74, will be set to be even more productive next year.

With Myers focused on the offense, his midfielder sidekick Gage Wirth focused on controlling the center of the pitch, stopping opposing attacks before they became dangerous and helping the transition from defense to the offensive. Wirth, a TVL second-team all-star, also increased his contributions to goals. He scored seven goals and four assists.

Three seniors were a big part of the Wildcat attack.

Danny Bellis has teamed up with Jackson Beaver and Zander Foltz to form a stunning weapon set.

Bellis mainly worked on the left side, using his speed, speed and unusual ball turns to break through defenses. He set career highs with 11 goals, a team record of 13 assists and 34 points. A member of the Second All-Star Team, Bellis ended his career with a record 63 points.

Beaver, who Anstine called “one of the smartest players I’ve had … a coach on the pitch,” set career highs with 16 goals, 10 assists and 36 points and was selected at unanimity among the stars of the league.

Foltz was the perfect complement to his teammates. Working on the right side, Foltz was adept at backstrokes to complete feeds from Beaver, Bellis or Myers. Foltz, who entered the year with one goal and two assists, finished with nine and five.

Anstine, always ready to play deserving freshmen and sophomores, provided a significant opportunity for his young players.

Lucas Beaver, a sophomore, secured a starting position in midfield and was playing well (3g, 4a) before injury took him out of the field for nine games.

Freshmen Nathan Hixson (3g) and Mason Preston (2g, 3a), and freshmen Evan Rice (3g, 7a) and Ben Brinser (1g) also made their way into the regular rotation, making appearances in all 19 games.

Junior Luke Taylor (10 games) and sophomores Jeff Bubb (11), Leroy Brofee (12) and Brandon Barrick (9) played to varying degrees.

“I think we did a good job getting some playing time for the younger kids. We were going to 18 depths in close games, ”said Anstine. “I think it’s important to build a program that sticks out.

Washington Capitals sent in 2020 first-round pick Hendrix Lapierre back in the QMJHL on Wednesday following the start of the 19-year-old NHL prospect’s season. After being tied for preseason points (5), Lapierre scored his first NHL goal on opening night and averaged 9:35 TOI in his six regular season games in the NHL.

“I think it’s a lot for a young player to manage the NHL and the league itself,” Capitals head coach Peter Laviolette said last week, reflecting on the move. “So we sent him back to the juniors where he can play against his peers and who knows what’s going on from here, if he has the chance to play at the World Championships and if he has the chance to. play in the playoffs. If all of these things could happen you think of its year and it really is in a great place.

Laviolette added that “It’s not negative that we sent him back. We just felt it was time for a young player where it is very difficult to break a league made up of grown men. It’s tough and yet he did such a fantastic job that we had to keep him and we had to keep watching him and he helped us.

On Saturday, Lapierre made his debut with the Acadie-Bathurst Titan, who retired a lot in an exchange with the Saguenéens de Chicoutimi to acquire it during the off-season. Lappy collected two assists and was named first star of the night in Acadie-Bathurst’s 6-4 victory over the Shawinigan Cataractes. Lapierre also wore the A as one of the team’s alternate captains.

Lapierre had a secondary assist and a primary assist in two different Acadie-Bathurst power games.

On Sunday, in the long-distance game of a back-to-back game against his former team, Lapierre collected a secondary assist on a Cole Huckins tied goal.

Acadie-Bathurst lost to Chicoutimi, 5-2.

“Of course, in an ideal world I would have stayed in Washington,” Lapierre said in a French-language interview with TVA Sports a day after returning to Q. “However, I had a great opportunity to play games . It was up to me to catch it. I don’t think I did wrong, but maybe I didn’t do enough to stay all year. I know, however, that I took a huge leap in before.

Lapierre said that “the messages from the Capitals were very positive. They obviously gave me a few points that they would like me to work on. I do feel, however, that they trust me and that’s all I can ask for.

Lappy will now play every night and will have a huge role on Acadie-Bathurst, allowing him to continue to develop. He’s also likely to make Canada’s squad for the 2022 World Junior Championships where he can test his skills against the other top under-20 players outside of the NHL.

“I know I still have a lot to learn,” said Lapierre. “I haven’t played a lot of games in recent years. We have a good team in Bathurst and I think my year will be really good. What I want this year is to have fun playing hockey.

“I know it’s a cliché, but I really want to get better every day. I want to play on the power play, on the penalty kill, take a big face-off and try to help the team win.

For a second consecutive season, the Buccaneers are 6-2 in eight games. After eight games of the 2020 season, they have lost three of their next four games to drop to 7-5 before the week off. But this year, they get their pass in Week 9, which allows them to make some mid-season adjustments before the final stretch.

As the NFL moves to 17 regular season games this season, Tampa Bay is about halfway through its schedule. This means that the post-bye stretch race consists of nine games, including five outside of Raymond James Stadium. The defending Super Bowl champions are in good shape at 6-2, but they still have a long way to go as they try to repeat.

Let’s see which are the three most difficult matches on the team’s remaining match list:

As of the week off, the Bucs travel to the nation’s capital for a clash against the Washington football team. This is a rematch for the NFC Wild Card Round 2020, and while Washington is only 2-6 in the year, it still feels like an important game for Tampa Bay. The defending champions haven’t played their best ball in eight games, but they’re still 6-2. In some ways, they’ll likely feel lucky to be 6-2 given the inconsistency of the team as a whole, as well as penalty issues and the number of injuries that have racked up. And with their Week 8 loss to New Orleans, they hit the week off on a negative note.

With the start of the second half of the season, the Bucs have a fresh start. They’ll have the chance to get healthy during the off week, and they’ll be looking to make the same kind of jump in the stretch they did when coming off their leave in 2020. A year ago, Tampa Bay did. adjustments during his week off and won his last four regular season games and carried that momentum to four more playoff wins, leading to the franchise’s second Lombardi Trophy. This Washington road clash could prove tricky, especially with Ron Rivera’s side coming out of their own week off. If the Bucs come out with a win, they’ll be 7-2 and they’ll have the bad taste of Week 8 out of their mouths. A loss, however, would look like a pretty big setback before a Monday night football game in Week 11 against the Giants, who always seem to be playing them hard.

Washington Football Team vs. Buffalo Bills

When the 2021 NFL schedule was released, this Week 14 contest between the Bucs and Bills was considered one of the flagship games of the entire season. If things had turned out a little differently in January, it could have been the Bills playing the Bucs for the Lombardi Trophy at Raymond James Stadium. That may not have happened, but as the 2021 season approaches, many have predicted a clash between Tampa Bay and Buffalo in this year’s Super Bowl. And that could definitely be in the cards, as they are two of the best teams in the league so far this season. The Bills are 5-2 and the Bucs are 6-2, and the two appear to be on their way to a big game on December 12.

It might not be a game that has a direct impact on the NFC playoff image, but there will certainly be playoff implications. If all goes according to plan, Tampa Bay could be one step closer to an NFC South title deciding situation. Not to mention that the Bucs will be looking to position themselves for home court advantage throughout the playoffs. And to have it all on the line against one of the AFC favorites? It is a difficult task. Josh Allen has proven to be one of the most dynamic and impressive quarterbacks in the league, and he’s the kind of guy who will threaten the Tampa Bay defense. Looking back at Week 12 of 2020, the Bucs met the Chiefs at Raymond James Stadium and played a close game that ended up being a Super Bowl preview in February. Could this be a preview of what’s to come in February 2022?

NFL: Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. New Orleans Saints

Stephen Lew-USA TODAY Sports

Just a week after a highly anticipated game against the Bills, the Bucs will end their season series against the Saints by hosting them at Raymond James Stadium for a Sunday night soccer game. Of course, Tampa Bay hosted New Orleans on Sunday Night Football in Week 9 of the 2020 season, and no one needs to remember how that game went. The Bucs had the final say in knocking out the Saints from the playoffs en route to winning the Super Bowl, but there is just something about this divisional rivalry that has been difficult for Tom Brady and his team. The Saints swept both games of the regular season last year and as the NFC divisional round looked like a turning point in history between these two teams, the Bucs were once again beaten by the Saints in the week 8 – and that was with the third channel quarterback. Trevor Siemian under the center.

So when Sean Payton and his team come to Tampa on December 19, the Bucs will have something to prove. The Saints are without Jameis Winston for the remainder of the season, so the squad will likely belong to Taysom Hill when this game goes. A Hill-led New Orleans team – for one reason or another – could very well cause trouble for the Bucs. On paper, this shouldn’t be a close game. Tampa Bay appear to be the much better team, but they’ll have to prove it. It remains to be seen where the Saints will be in terms of their playoff results by Week 15. They could ramp up their defense to a few wins by December and, if so, this game will have serious implications for the League. NFC South. But even if it doesn’t and New Orleans is simply battling for a wild card spot, the Bucs can’t afford to be swept up in the seasonal series again. They just can’t.

So, Bucs Nation, which game do you think is the biggest game left in Tampa Bay? Tell us what you think!

From the first day of heat acclimatization practice on August 9 until the very last Lancaster-Lebanon League football team is still up later this fall, we’ll bring you three fun facts every day. LL League pig to keep you up to date with what’s going on around the league

1. It has been a frustrating few days for Annville-Cleona. First, the Dutch abandoned a 23-13 decision to compete with Elco on Friday, and when the final D3-3A power standings were released on Saturday, AC ended up on line 9 – as the first. team to participate in the playoffs. It was a disappointment. But no worries, as the Dutch’s postponed non-league game against Schuylkill Valley was still on the schedule, as the make-up clash of Week 11. So at least AC – and its seniors – would get one last game. Until… Schuylkill Valley qualifies for the Eastern Pennsylvania 3A Conference Playoff game against Nanticoke, then the Panthers called off their makeup meeting against the Dutch, leaving AC to scramble for an opponent so that he can play a maximum of 10 games in the regular season. At the last check, the Dutch were looking for a match this coming weekend.

LL LEAGUE FOOTBALL STATISTICS, STANDINGS, SCHEDULES

2. A week 11 game has been added for sure: Garden Spot will be playing Elco on Thursday or Friday. Stay tuned for the official date. Garden Spot needed a game when its Section 3 makeup date against Donegal was canned because the Indians made the D3-4A bracket. Elco needed a game when his non-League 1 makeup date against Susquenita was sacked because the Blackhawks made the D3-2A support. So the Spartans and Raiders – who faced each other in August – will have an out-of-league party in Myerstown later this week. … Another non-league makeup game scheduled for Friday: Pequea Valley will host Biglerville.

But he’s made two milestones with that effort: a 2,500-yard (2,548) season and Footman has up to 4,064 career aerial yards. … Octorara QB Weston Stoltzfus finished the regular season with 20 touchdown passes against zero interceptions. No choice. His efficiency rating of 149 passers is the best in the LL League. … Footman has a record 29 TD strikes; Johnson is next with 25 for Township. … Cedar Crest RB Aadyn richards, who put in a mammoth 317-yard, 5-TD effort in a Week 10 win over McCaskey, will be just short of a 1,000-yard season; he’s 949 yards in nine games, and the Falcons – at last check – weren’t going to add a 10th game. … Wilson RB Jadyn jones will need 52 rushing yards against York in the D3-6A playoffs for a 1,000-yard season. And he missed two games. … With his monster 200-yard night in Warwick’s victory over Conestoga Valley, Warriors’ RB Christian Royer (1075) have joined the 1,000-yard club this season. … Leader of the LL League Antoine Bourassa (1,863 yards) will need a 137-yard night in Cocalico’s D3-4A playoff game against Berks Catholic for a 2,000-yard season. … A pair of Section 4 full-backs put in great performances from Week 10 to 1,000-yard seasons: Octorara RB Mike Trainor racked up 265 yards in a win over North Lebanon and Annville-Cleona RB Rogan harter went 120 yards in a backhand against Elco, and Trainor and Harter are both sitting for 1,005 yards for their respective teams. … Harter, Trainor, Bourassa, Royer, Elco’s Luke Williams (1,200 and more) and that of Ephrata André Weidman (1,400 and over) have all hit the 1,000 rushing yard mark so far this fall. He leads the league with 62 seizures. … Only three LL League receivers have over 700 receiving yards this fall: Eckert (982), Columbia’s Dominique Diaz-Ellis (793) and Manheim Central Owen Sensenig (774). … Diaz-Ellis, a freshman, leads the league with 10 touchdown receptions.
