Futuristic designs added to the ground outside of Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Return to EPCOT

We’re about a month away from media previews for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, which means construction is wrapping up outside of the attraction.

We took a look at the Wonders of Xandar pavilion from the monorail on a cloudy morning.

Many building materials and vehicles have left the area.

There is one elevator left and a crew member was there when we passed. Other crew members were talking in the distance.

The temporary orange fence no longer blocks the “welcome structure” at the main entrance.

Height requirement signs and warnings on either side of the structure remain blank.

Plants were planted entirely around the yard.

The courtyard floor also has a new design, next to the Nova Corps ship.

The futuristic white patterns match those of the building and ship. We may see more of these designs circle the ship in the coming weeks.

We saw a crew member working on the canopy above the Treasures of Xandar entrance.

Several rolling planters are staged inside and outside the building walls, suggesting that they will soon fall and be replaced by the planters.

Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind will likely open on Memorial Day weekend.
