Stunning new designs from Thibaut, Porter Teleo and more

The holidays are in full swing and there is an abundance of cool winter launches to help you decorate rooms this season. From buttery-soft performance velvets made from recycled plastic bottles to on-trend dining tables made from solid brass, here are some highlights from the latest debut series.

New Jersey-based design and manufacturing studio Timbur showcased the latest additions to their Stack series at Design Miami. The digitally crafted assortment includes seating, sideboards, and décor pieces constructed using the brand’s signature stack-lamination process, including Fresnel, a splashback with a three-dimensional front, and our crush. current, a stool with clean lines called Vert which doubles as a small side table not cumbersome.

In an effort to reduce ocean litter, Thibaut has launched a range of performance plush fabrics made from recycled plastics. The Club Velvet collection was created using nearly 400,000 post-consumer plastic (PET) bottles, a number that will continue to grow as more fabric is produced. And for each site purchased, the brand will donate one dollar to Ocean Blue Project (a non-profit environmental organization that collects microplastics from beaches and waterways).

Rocky Mountain Hardware has unveiled a handcrafted collaboration with Robert AM Stern Architects called Oasis. Bursting with organic shapes and forms, the sculptural assortment includes 15 bronze designs available in a range of functions and finishes, including a wavy cabinet handle named Portia and an asymmetrical door handle known as Flora.

Calico Wallpaper has launched a dream collection of shaded wall coverings called Colorwash. Inspired by the color gradients of the sky on a cloudy day, the wallpaper comes in eight calming colourways, ranging from a sunny golden yellow named Arise to the earthy color Transcend at dusk.

New Ravenna has introduced a handful of delicious tile additions to its artisanal Studio line. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, the ship-to-ship series features five stone mosaic designs in soft and subdued hues, including the diamond-patterned Esmeralda and the basketry-inspired Wickerweave.

At Design Miami, Tom dixon presented a superb collection of very refined furniture called Mass. Made in collaboration with Design Research Studio (the British designer’s in-house innovation agency), the statement series comprises a family of tables, book racks and coat racks made from solid shiny brass, all of which are made on measurement for a custom fit.

Porter Teleo has released three dazzling hand-painted wallpaper designs just in time for the holidays: The Dance is an abstract composition inspired by the artist Henri Matissethe iconic cutouts of; Patina features a two-tone pattern with a trendy dripping effect; and Kuba focuses on a graphic pattern that pays homage to traditional African textiles.

ZdG by Zoe de Givenchy has released a collection of character collector’s tableware called Manganese Violine. Handcrafted and hand painted by highly skilled French artisans, each of the porcelain plates in the series features a chinoiserie-style motif that was originally created for the designer’s late uncle-in-law, a fashion icon. Clarence House unveiled a dynamic collection of textiles suitable for the outdoors. Packed with vibrant hues and whimsical patterns, the playful assortment includes nine fabrics and six trims available in a variety of colourways, including the OD Le Bastion astrology print and starburst-style ODL Astral ribbon.

Jeffrey Beers International has launched an exuberant collaboration with Chicago-based surface design company Maya Romanoff. Cast over a paulownia wood veneer, the Ajiro Burst of Happiness wallcovering features a hand-encrusted metallic foil star pattern and comes in 10 energizing hues, including dark purple hues and Deep Sea Dive hues. emerald.
