EAST LIVERPOOL – Lucinda (Cindy) Louise Morris, 70, of East Liverpool, died on Wednesday 10 November 2021 following a long illness. She was a loving wife, mother, Nana and friend to many.

She graduated in 1969 from East Liverpool High School and graduated from Kent State University. She was a registered nurse at East Liverpool City Hospital, from which she retired. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Wellsville. She enjoyed family, cooking, gardening, dancing, painting, sharing family stories and genealogy.

Cindy was predeceased by her paternal grandparents, Eva and “Pop” Gray, who raised her, her parents Charles Baumgarner and Estelle Louise Allison, her brother Charles Baumgarner and her sister Melody Jones.

She is survived by her devoted husband Lary P. Morris, whom she married on September 9, 1986.

She is also survived by her children Michael J. Penrod, Kelly Penrod, Janie (Jason) Harrold, Kevin (Georgia) Morris & Tisha (Randy) Haustman; grandchildren Brandon Penrod, Jordin (Wayne) Floyd, Eva Jackman, Luke P. Jackman, Aislinn & Johnna Wood, Sarah & Ava Harrold, Sara (Alf) Butler, Hannah & Matthew Haustman; great-grandchildren Reila & Colsen Penrod, Amellia & Lily Floyd and Matthew, Jacob & Natalie Butler; Vicky Plumley, Cindy’s special friend and caregiver; Siblings of Cindy, Kitty Foster, Carolyn (David) Dryden, Joseph (Billy Jo) Baumgarner, Will Baumgarner and Tarenthea Baumgarner as well as several nieces and nephews.

Call hours will be 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 14, 2021 with a 4:00 p.m. service led by Pastor Mark Blakely at the Martin Chapel of CARE Funeral & Cremation Specialists in Calcutta.
