Walter E. Kinsey, 89, of St. Clairsville, OH passed away on Thursday September 23, 2021 at Trinity Medical Center West, Steubenville, OH.

He was born January 25, 1932 in Maynard, OH., The son of the late Beulah Scott Windsheimer.

Walter was a retired toolmaker and die maker for the Imperial Clevite Corporation and the Superior Valve Company of Washington, PA. He was a member of the Christ the King Lutheran Church and had many memberships including the Cumberland Trail Genealogy Society, 4-H Club, Sea Scouts, Cubs, Sons of American Revolution, County First Families Ohio-Belmont-Washington County and the Belmont County Fair Board. Walter proudly served in the US Navy during the Korean conflict.

In addition to his mother, he was predeceased by a brother, George Kinsey.

His survivors are his beloved wife, Carolyn Baker Kinsey of St. Clairsville; sons, Charles (Lisa Wieneke) Kinsey of Adena, OH, Paul (Nancy) Kinsey of Frankfort, OH and Jeffrey Kinsey of St. Clairsville; one sister, Betty Bain; one brother, William Windsheimer, both of Maynard; eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Friends will be received Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville with funeral services Wednesday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Jeff Lewis officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, OH. Full military honors will be led by the Moundsville Honor Guard.
